The Sitting Room
The sitting room below
the gallery has comfortable sofas and lots of cushions scattered
around, however it is also nice to sit at the bottom of the
stairs. There is a luxury wide screen TV, DVD, and video here
and two large windows one which over looks the banana tree
and the back of the garden, and one that overlooks the brambly
path that leads up to the forest. Slightly smaller, the reading
room boasts an inglenook fire place, glorious beams and original
flag stones, also an original window seat, just right for
reading a Bronte novel. If however you prefer the soaps we
have another TV, DVD and video in here hidden inside the cupboard,
perfect for those days when you don't want to explore.

The Dining Hall
The dining hall has a long wooden table
which seats 8 but can be easily extended for a few more. The
huge inglenook fireplace when lit is stunning. Beams and flagstone
floors take you back to an ancient time and there are breathtaking
views from both the door and the window, bon apetit.

The kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with a huge
range cooker which has two ovens, 1 fan and 1 conventional,
grill and 8 gas rings. It boasts a dishwasher, fridge, microwave
and everything a discerning cook could ask for, all under
an imposing vaulted ceiling. The kitchen door opens onto the
garden and a few metres away stands the garden table, which
seats 10 people and is covered by a pretty blue umbrella with
lanterns.
The utility room has an additional fridge freezer, (ideal
for stocking up on white wine) washing machine and tumble
dryer, iron and ironing board.
There is a large family shower room, but
be especially careful if you are over 4 ft tall as the door
isn't. All linen and towels are included at Lypiatt house.

| The Garden
Outside, If you care to eat al fresco, you
couldn't wish for a more perfect setting. Stunning views of
fields and countryside and also the river Severn, as far as
the eye can see. Here you will find a stone BBQ and Chimnea
in case the evenings get a little chilly.
You can also play a game or two of pool
in the barn or slip into the hot tub whilst dinner is cooking.
