Detached and set on the hillside in the
heart of the Royal Forest of Dean, Lypiatt House is a luxurious
retreat surrounded by generous, much loved, mature gardens.
These are set on various levels, with many places to take
tea and enjoy the spectacular views.
Amidst the flowers you will find a 6
seater hot tub and a barn which holds the games
room with pool table.
The interior of the cottage offers much charm and character
with two huge inglenook fire places, flagstone floors and
beams.
Spacious and tastefully restored to a very
high standard, Lypiatt house offers all the modern facilities
to ensure the perfect holiday for up to nine people.
There is also a travel cot and high chair
for our smaller guests. This is a wonderful property for family
get togethers, not only because of the magnificent dining
hall but the 3 separate sitting rooms affording everyone the
luxury of their own space.
There is so much to see and do in this area,
the Royal Forest of Dean covers 127,000 acres of which 27,000
acres are natural forest. Unspoiled and ideal for walking
or enjoying a picnic - and if that doesn't interest you scores
of great country pubs might.
